Catholics cannot deny the preeminence of the right to life. Catholics must always stand for the truth of Church teaching. The voice that Catholics have found after 48 years of opposition to the Pro-choice movement is the proclamation that Life is from God, and that the way we treat preborn human life has a direct bearing on all the other ways we interact with our fellow human beings. That is the Truth we proclaim to all people, whether they are believers or not. Everyone is entitled to the truth. We withhold this truth from others at the peril of losing what Faith we steadfastly proclaim.
